  Artistic Policy
InForm Theatre is committed to developing theatre which explores the relationship between new writing and physically aware performance styles.
Our theatre should invite every individual to make choices and find an active engagement with the live event.
We believe in the co-dependency of all the theatre arts - performance, design, direction - and support a collaborative approach to theatre-making. Actors work together with us to create our pieces.
We encourage writers to work alongside the actors’ company; to write for those involved and to be stimulated by them.
Experimentation is essential to the future of theatre and as such we support ongoing experimentation and exploration alongside the creation of individual projects.
InForm encourage a two-way relationship with drama training from both inside and outside the company’s practice.

who we are

London-based InForm Theatre was established by Phil King and Simon Pittman in 2003 to provide practical workshops for schools, colleges and universities. From there it has grown into a theatre company committed to developing new writing and physically aware performance. We are a not for profit organisation.
