Not A Game For Boys received two nominations in The Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards 2007. The show was up for Best Production and the cast were nominated for Best Actor. Kevin Bourke and Alan Hulme of the M.E.N wrote;

Not A Game For Boys by Simon Block was presented by The Library Theatre Company in association with Birkbeck, University of London in April 2007. Simon Pittman (of InformTheatre) directed and Simon Rorstrand designed.
Phil King’s new play House Martin received a rehearsed reading at West Yorkshire Playhouse in December 2007. It was be worked on by a cast of 6 actors for 3 days and then be presented to an invited audience at the WYP.
